A Journey Born From Passion

From an early age, I have always had a deep love for makeup. As a teen, I experimented with colours, textures, and different looks (yes, especially during my goth phase!) and dreamed of one day turning my passion into a career. While my heart was always set on makeup artistry, I pursued a degree in social work, graduating in 2013. After spending five years in the social work field, I made the bold decision to follow my dream and pursue makeup artistry professionally.

In 2018, I completed a 10-week makeup course at the Central School of Makeup in Digbeth, Birmingham, while juggling a full-time job and I then officially became a qualified makeup artist.

Since then, I have been unbelievably privileged to paint the faces of many Brides to be, Bridesmaids and Mother’s of the Bride/Groom, as well as providing prom and event makeup.

My real passion is alternative makeup. I was lucky enough to be part of a Moon Goddess photo shoot with Kas Glendinning Photography, which gave me the freedom to be creative and allowed the clients involved to celebrate their authentic selves. Seeing the reactions from these stunning ladies after taking the first look of their makeup, was priceless, the satisfaction this gave me has driven me to pursue my true dream of creating alternative, bold and expressive looks.
